This policy explains what information Hourglass Holdings collects through this website (the "Site"), how it's used, and what choices you have. It applies to visitors, presale purchasers, and anyone who joins the email list.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us directly: your email address when you request the free chapter, and your name, email, shipping address, and payment details when you reserve a copy through Stripe.
• Information collected automatically: standard technical data such as your browser type, device type, approximate location from IP address, and pages visited, collected through server logs and Cloudflare.
• Information from third-party services: when you complete a purchase, Stripe shares confirmation details with us (not your full card number, which Stripe alone retains).

How we use your information

• To deliver the free chapter and any digital or physical products you order
• To process payments and fulfill presale orders, including shipping updates
• To send you updates about the book, including launch and shipping notifications
• To respond to questions you send us
• To improve the Site and understand what content people find useful

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that make this Site and the presale function:

• Stripe, to process payments
• SendGrid, to deliver the free chapter and order/email communications
• HubSpot, to manage our contact list and respond to inquiries
• Google Sheets, for internal order and lead record-keeping
• Cloudflare, for site security and performance

Each of these providers processes your information under their own privacy policy and only for the purpose of providing their service to us.

Cookies

This Site uses minimal cookies from Cloudflare for security and performance. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

• Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from future marketing emails immediately.
• You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@rusnikita.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
• If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and the right to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Data retention

We keep order records as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. We keep email list records until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures, including HTTPS encryption and Cloudflare protection, to safeguard information submitted through this Site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
